During the August 14th celebrations, Ahmad suddenly froze. He saw some children stepping on small national flags scattered in the street. Looking at the flag in his own hand, tears filled his eyes. Heartbroken, he quickly picked up the fallen flags from the ground and kissed them respectfully.
As the other children watched in surprise, Ahmad spoke emotionally:
"Our elders shed their blood for this nation; we cannot disrespect our flag like this!"
His sincere words made all the children feel ashamed. Silently, they all joined him in gathering the flags from the ground.
