Make the Title Interesting
The title should make the reader think: "What will happen?" — The title is the door to the story.
Start with a Bang
Write the first sentence so the reader cannot stop. Like: "That night everything changed..."
Bring Characters to Life
Write story characters like people from your home or school — so the reader recognises them.
Keep Language Simple
No difficult words — write in simple language. Write what you speak — that is good writing.
End Memorably
The last sentence should stay in the heart — the reader keeps thinking "What a story!"
