Hamza was a child from a poor family. His father worked hard as a daily‑wage laborer. He went to work every day and earned just enough money to keep the family afloat.
One morning, as his father left for work, he handed Hamza a fish and said, “Make a dish with this today.” Then he went on his way.
Hamza’s mother took the fish out of the fridge and began cleaning it. When she cut open the belly, a bright object caught her eye. She pulled it out and found a beautiful diamond.
Hamza and his mother were stunned. “Mother, this is a gift from Allah. We must thank Him,” Hamza said at once.
His mother kept the diamond safe. A few days later they sold it. The money they received paid for the house’s needs, and their worries began to lessen.
Hamza always whispered “Bismillah‑ir‑Rahman‑ir‑Raheem” before starting any task. He knew every blessing came from Allah.
Now, whenever Hamza begins something, he says Bismillah and thanks Allah.
