Ahmed was an ordinary student. He loved science experiments, but was often afraid to try new things because he was afraid he might fail.
One day there was going to be a science competition at school. Ahmed decided that he would also take part in it. He worked hard for many days and made a beautiful model. He was very happy and was sure that everyone would like his model.
On the day of the competition, when Ahmed placed his model on the table, suddenly a major part of it broke and fell down. Ahmed was very sad. "Now I can't compete," he thought.
He was about to pack his things when his friend Hamza said, “You still have time. Try it once.
Ahmed obeyed his friend. He tried to reattach the broken part, but failed the first time. He tried again and finally the model was fixed.
When Ahmed presented his model to the judges, everyone praised his hard work and courage. When the result came, Ahmed won the first prize.
Ahmed was very happy. He realized that if he had given up after the first difficulty, he might not have achieved this success.
