That isolated house outside the city was famously haunted. Some people tried to spend the night in it, but everyone came out shouting and telling different stories. But this reporter did not believe in these things. He knew that people confuse things and that there is no such thing as a devil. He decided that he would spend the night in this house to prove that it was a ghost and a witch. It was all nonsense.
Despite the people's prohibition, he entered the house at night and began to inspect it. There were cobwebs everywhere in the empty house. Rats were running on the floor. He looked carefully into each room, but there was nothing but horror. He was now standing in what might once have been the drawing room. On its wall was the head of Barasinghe.
'Hannah, spiders, rats and twelve lions' heads. This is the devil here!' He said making a face.
'You're right.' Bara Sangha spoke. 'I also explain to everyone that there is nothing like the devil.'
Seeing Barasinghe speak, the reporter screamed in a terrible voice and then ran away with his feet on his head.
