This story is about a little fairy who was the daughter of Queen Yasmin of Paristan. Her name was Soon Pari, and she was as lovely as her name. With blue eyes, honey-red hair, and cheeks like pink apples, she was an exceptionally innocent fairy. Everyone in Paristan loved her dearly and spoiled her. None of her wishes were ever refused; maids attended to her every moment, and everyone rushed to appease her before she could even sulk. In short, Soon Pari was the apple of everyone’s eye in Paristan, but all this pampering and affection had made her stubborn and willful.

Now, she had stopped respecting her elders. She caused trouble in every matter—whether it was eating, drinking, wearing clothes, or going outside. To top it all off, she wouldn't even listen to her mother, the Queen of Paristan, and constantly bothered everyone. She believed that because she was so adorable, everyone's job was to love her, fulfill her whims, and that this was her right. Whenever she felt like it, she would go outside the palace and start playing. No matter how much she was forbidden, she refused to listen and would only stop after getting her way. The Queen explained to her countless times that children must obey their elders, because what elders say is for the children's own good, but how could Soon ever understand such things! She was completely lost in her own world.

One day, it had been raining in Paristan since morning, and the weather was terrible. Soon felt like going out into the rain to bathe. She knew that if the maids saw her, they would try to stop her, so she quietly slipped out of the palace. Soon felt like exploring a distant area all by herself that day. She kept walking through the damp weather, managing her wings and enjoying the atmosphere, without realizing how far she had wandered.

When darkness began to spread, she realized she had gone too far. She looked back, but her palace was nowhere in sight. Now she was very worried. Her feet ached from continuous walking, and her stomach was growling with hunger, but there was no royal chair to sit on, nor any fine and delicious food to eat. She was still too small to fly properly. She thought of taking flight to see if her palace would come into view, but with that effort, her tiny wings fluttered helplessly, and after a brief flight, she landed back on the ground. Soon felt deeply sad, and a wave of self-reproach hit her—why on earth had she wandered so far without telling or asking anyone?!

At that moment, her biggest problem was hunger, and she saw nothing around her to satisfy it. Soon was the daughter of the Queen of Paristan, where brand-new dishes were prepared every day. Whenever Soon sat down to eat, she would throw tantrums and trouble everyone, saying, "I won't eat this, I don't like that." At that moment, she remembered her mother's words: "Allah Almighty gets displeased with such behavior. We must thank Allah in every circumstance. Allah is pleased with those who express gratitude and showers them with even more blessings from His boundless treasures." But Soon never used to care about such lessons.

Overwhelmed by hunger, a drained Soon leaned against a tree and sat down on the grass. In her heart, she felt profound remorse and prayed to God for forgiveness: "O Allah! Please get me safely back to my home just once, and I will never bother anyone again and will always thank You."

Just as a tear slipped from Soon’s eye, she noticed a red apple lying right beside her. Soon quickly picked up the apple and began to eat it. The apple was exceptionally sweet and delicious. The tree she was leaning against was an apple tree, laden with bright red apples. Soon quickly picked many apples, ate her fill, and thanked Allah.

Now she wasn't hungry anymore, but being alone in the forest terrified her. She prayed to Allah that her mother would send soldiers to look for her so she could return home quickly. While praying, Soon fell asleep, leaning against the same tree.

In the morning, Soon woke up to the sweet chirping of birds. She was startled to see such lovely birds around her. Gradually, the memories of the previous day came rushing back, and she jumped to her feet. Oh, what is this?! Did I spend the entire night alone in the forest? Didn't my mother send anyone to look for me?

Thinking this, she started crying. A sweet Myna bird sitting close by couldn't bear to see Soon cry. She approached Soon and said:

"Dear Soon Pari, do not cry! I will go right now and tell the Queen of Paristan where you are."

Back in Paristan, the Queen and everyone else were deeply distressed. Everyone was searching for Soon, but because she had gone far deep into the forest, no one could find her. The Queen was pacing sadly in the garden when the same Myna bird flew down and perched on a tree branch near her. The Myna addressed the Queen: "Dear Queen! Do not be sad, Soon Pari is far away in the forest. Send the soldiers with me, and I will guide them. Insha'Allah, your Soon will return to you safely."

Hearing this, the Queen was overjoyed and immediately dispatched soldiers with the Myna to retrieve Soon, inviting the Myna to live in the royal garden as a reward.

Soon was sitting sadly in the forest. Today was her second day away from the palace, and she felt as though her entire life might pass in this very forest. As she sat there desolately, she heard the sound of many wings fluttering together in the sky. When the sounds drew closer, Soon’s joy knew no bounds. The soldiers of Paristan had arrived to fetch their little Soon Pari.

Now, Soon Pari is growing up. Her wings have grown larger too; she can fly properly now and can return to her palace all by herself. But now, she never leaves the palace without the permission of her mother, Queen Yasmin, and whenever she desires to tour outside, she takes her maids along with her. She has now transformed into a wonderful fairy who respects her elders and expresses gratitude to Allah Almighty.
