Adeel was a good child. He was a student of the fifth class and every year he would take some position in his class. He respected and respected elders. One of his qualities was that he loved his country immensely. His parents used to tell him stories and true incidents related to Islam and Pakistan. This was the reason that he was very attached to his religion and country.
One day his father was preparing to go to the office when he came running to him and said.
Abu. We will definitely come to take the flags on our way back from the office today.'
'What kind of flags?' his father asked in shock.
Don't you remember that the day after tomorrow is August 41. Independence day of Pakistan. The whole country is decorated on this day. I will also decorate my house with flags,' he said.
Oh yes, I was out of my mind. Well, I will bring you many flags. Abu said.
"And there should be a big flag that we put on our roof so that it can be seen from afar," he said excitedly.
"Good father, I will also bring the flag. Happy now." Abu smiled and went out.
When Abu returned from office in the evening, Adeel first asked about the flag of Pakistan.
Abu smilingly handed over many flags with moon stars and a big flag to him. Adeel was very happy to see the flags.
On the evening of August 31, he reached the courtyard. His father tied many ropes in the yard and Adeel started sticking flags on them with glue.
Then he and his father climbed to the roof. Abu put the flag on a long piece of bamboo and put the bamboo straight on the roof. At that time there was a strong wind. The flag also started waving loudly.
"Look, Abu. How the flag is swinging," Adeel said happily.
Yes. This is also celebrating the joy of independence. Come on now, come inside. Abu said and both of them came down.
After a while, dark clouds came and the weather became very pleasant. The wind continued till night. Adeel fell asleep after offering Isha prayer.
At night, suddenly the clouds made a noise and the eyes of Adeel's mother opened. When they looked to the right, they were shocked. They saw that Adeel's bed was empty.
He called out to Adeel but got no answer. Then they checked the bathroom but Adeel was not there. Now she got worried and woke up Adeel's father.
"I wonder where it went at night," Abu said worriedly. He looked everywhere in Adeel's house and made sounds, then Adeel's voice came.
'I am here, Abu.'
Hey! It is in the courtyard. Abu said in shock and both quickly ran towards the courtyard. It was raining lightly at that time.
Adeel. What are you doing here?' asked my mother.
Mom, look, it's raining. If the rain is heavy, all the flags will be wet and damaged. will explode. And our miss had said that we should protect our national flag.'' said Adeel.
'Really, son, you are right. We didn't realize this. Abu said.
"Yes, our son is more intelligent than us and loves the country." Mother also spoke proudly.
Then mother and father together with him quickly took down all the flags and kept them in the room.
The next day, when the sun came out, Adeel put up all the flags again. The beautiful flags of Pakistan were waving in the wind, thanking Adeel and his mother, Abu, for the way you have saved us from getting damaged in the rain. Similarly, Allah Mian will save Pakistan from every calamity. God willing.
