Ali lived in a village. He loved his country very much. On the morning of August 14, Ali hoisted the green crescent flag on the roof of the house. Children were singing national songs in the street. Ali asked his grandfather:
"Grandfather! Why is freedom so important to us?"
Dada smiled and said:
"Son! This freedom is the result of the sacrifices of our elders. We should appreciate it and work hard for the development of the country.
Ali saluted the flag and vowed to serve Pakistan as a responsible citizen.
