Zubair was fully prepared to participate in the rally. Wearing a green hat on his head, a white shalwar kameez and a green waistcoat resembling the flag, and holding a flag in his hand, he stepped out of the house. Happiness was evident on his face. The slogan of Pakistan was on his lips.
Suddenly, his eyes fell upon his peer and neighbor, Awais. Dressed in dirty, worn-out clothes, he was looking at him with immense longing:
"Aren't you going to the rally?"
"Father didn't get any daily-wage work today."
Awais said with tearful eyes. Zubair's eyes also welled up at his sorrowful tone, but immediately he checked his pocket and said cheerfully:
"Partner, our joys and sorrows are shared; come, let's go to the market."
