Well done Ali!

Ali was very fond of keeping birds since his childhood. One day while passing through the market, he saw a very beautiful and colorful parrot. The parrot was very beautiful. Ali immediately bought it and brought it home. He bought the most expensive and beautiful cage in the market for his new friend. Every morning he got up early, cleaned the cage, gave him fresh grain and clean water. He used to sit and talk with her for hours.

The parrot also soon got familiar with Ali and started calling 'Ali...Ali' in his sweet voice. With the passage of time, the brightness of the parrot's eyes began to dim. This was surprising to Ali. The parrot's frolic, chirping and agility were gradually turning into silence. He used to hold the iron bars of the cage all day and look out at the open sky. Whenever a flock of birds would pass by chirping in the air, he would scream excitedly and beat his wings against the cage. Ali thought that maybe he was hungry or wanted attention. Ali was not aware of the fact that he was beginning to feel numb from the agony of imprisonment. He was a traveler of the free skies and was imprisoned by Ali in a cage.

One day, Ali's grandmother saw him sitting depressed by the cage, so she placed her hand on his head and said:

"Son! Allah Almighty has created every living thing free. Even if you put gold grains and silver water in the cage, imprisonment remains imprisonment. The real abode of the bird is the sky.

Ali listened to Dadi's words from one ear and said:

"Grandma! I love him dearly, that's why I have taken care of him and kept him safe."

Days were passing and the parrot was getting weaker and weaker. Finally, he had almost stopped eating grains and drinking water.

As Ali's anxiety increased, he took him to a bird doctor. Seeing the condition of the parrot, the doctor looked at the cage and said seriously:

"What he needs is not medicine, but open air and freedom." If you don't free him, he is a guest for a few days."

The doctor's words hurt Ali's heart. He was worried. In this worry, he could not sleep properly at night. The family members were worried seeing Ali's condition. Ali was haunted by every single thing said by his grandmother. He started to worry and feel sad for his friend parrot day and night. There was a strange situation in the house. Grandmother was telling him again and again that son! Leave this poor man. Finally, one evening, Ali made a decision, for which he was not mentally ready at all. It was a very difficult decision. He lifted the cage and went to the roof.

It was a lovely evening and a cool breeze was blowing. Ali opened the door of the cage with trembling hands and closed his eyes tightly. There was silence for a few moments, then the sudden fluttering of wings hit his ears and he opened his eyes. The parrot got out of the cage and stood up in the air, above the roof. Then it turned around and looked at Ali as if thanking him. Then he quickly went up. Ali had tears in his eyes and peace in his heart. He quietly picked up the cage and quietly came down from the roof. Now he was no longer Ali. He had thought in his heart that in the future he would definitely love the birds but not imprison them, he would be a friend of the birds and write the stories of his friendship. When he told his grandmother about his intentions, she was very happy and started kissing his forehead, then said:

Well done Ali! We should treat innocent birds like this...

Ali started smiling after listening to Dadi's words.
