"Hey Limbo Mian! You didn't appear anywhere in the fair, did you?" asked the fox, stifling a laugh. Before Limbo could say anything, Morni spoke up:
"How come! His long neck would be stuck somewhere in the bushes." Hearing Morni's words, the animals nearby and the birds sitting on the branches of the trees started laughing loudly. After hearing their words, Lambo became silent and then walked towards his home.
There was a lush forest near the village. In this forest there was every blessing for animals as well as birds and humans. There lived a giraffe with a long neck. Because of his long neck, the giraffe was famous in the whole forest. Everyone called him as Limbo. While Limbo was famous in the whole forest because of his long neck, some animals used to make fun of him.
One day it was announced in the forest that a fair was being held. In the fair, peacocks would dance, cuckoos would sing, monkeys would perform tricks and so many animals would show off their talents. All the animals were assured that no one's life would be in danger, no animal or bird would harm its fellows.
All the animals and birds were very happy to hear the fair. The fair was held in a part of the forest with tall trees, bushes and narrow paths. The birds flew away easily. The monkeys jumped on the branches of the trees and the rest of the animals joined the festival through the narrow paths, but Limbaugh could not join the festival because of his neck. When all the birds and animals returned in the evening, they started making fun of Limbaugh.
That night, Lambo kept crying. He complained a lot to the Lord of the Worlds for making his long neck. When he fell asleep while crying, he did not know anything. The days passed, the days of spring ended and the scorching heat settled in the forest. The heat was increasing day by day. Due to the lack of rain, the green of the forest was slowly disappearing. All the animals were dying of hunger. The branches of the trees suffered from the drought, only the high branches bore fruit. While some animals were dying of hunger, the giraffe, due to its long neck, plucked flowers and fruits from the high branches of the trees and ate them.
One day many animals of the forest, including goats, sheep and bears, came to the giraffe and said:
"Brother Giraffe! Help us, we are starving." The lower branches of the trees have dried up and we cannot reach the upper branches.
Seeing everyone upset, Limbo decided to help. He gathered food for everyone. Seeing Limbaugh's kindness, everyone was ashamed of what they had done. They apologized to Limbu in turn and decided that this time the fair will be held in the forest in the open field. Seeing everyone happy, Limbu looked at the sky and asked forgiveness from Allah in his heart because he knew that Allah did not create anything in vain.
