Deception of sight
Rihanna Shah
The queen ant was doing her typical walk through the green fields. The rest of the army was behind him. Suddenly, Rani's eyes fell on a gur gur ant passing in front.
"Where are you going, Gurgurd? Aren't you going to look for grain with us?" Rani stopped him and asked.
"Nowhere, Rani. I just felt bad today. That's why I'm going for a walk in the field. And today I can't come with you."
"Well, then you go. Of course, getting some fresh air will make you feel better." Saying this, Rani went ahead. While the thunder also took its course. (Actually, it was the law of this area that everyone would collect the grain together. And the grain would be given to the queen of the area.)
"The queen ant. She is lying. I myself have seen her go into her bill in the morning with grain on her head." Ant Nemo who was behind Rani stepped forward and whispered to Rani.
"You may have misunderstood". Rani asked shocked.
"No, Rani. I have seen it with my own eyes," Nemo said firmly.
"But why would she lie to me?" Rani was worried.
"I don't even know that." Nemo spoke in a low voice.
"You have to find out why it is doing this. You should keep the ant detective with you tomorrow. And keep an eye on Gurgurd." He agreed to Rani's words.

The next day, Nemo and Spy Ant were waiting behind the bushes for Gurgur to come out of the bill. As expected, after some time, the grunt came out of his bill. And looking around very cautiously, walked in one direction, seeing him come out of the burrow, Nemo and the detectives started chasing him.
After walking a short distance, she was surprised to see that Gurgur picked up a grain of grain lying on the ground and dragged it towards his bill.

"What news have you brought?" Seeing them, Rani spoke.
"Numu was right! She had no misunderstanding. Gurgur really goes somewhere early in the morning and hides grain in her bill." Said the spy ant and told the queen what he saw.
"I don't understand this! Why did he lie to me?" Rani said and lost in thought. She was not surprised that she was collecting food but was surprised at his lie.
"Maybe she doesn't want to go with us." said Nemo the ant.
"But Rani...! Gurgur takes food from here every day". said the storage ant (who handled the storage of all the grains and was also responsible for distributing the food).
"What...? If she takes the food from here, where does she take the grain she has collected?" This news came as a surprise to Rani.
"That's what I don't understand," said the detective thinking.
"You find out! After all, what does she do with the extra grain?" Rani said looking at the spy.
"Okay, Rani. I will come to you after finding out everything." Saying this she left.
"Is she storing grain? But why? Somewhere she doesn't want to take my place? Maybe she thinks that when there is a shortage of grain, she will provide grain to everyone and everyone will recognize her as the queen!" Rani thought. She was suffering from severe reluctance.

The weather was bad today. The spy ant, waiting for Gurgurd to leave the house, came out of Gurgurd's bill shortly after the rain stopped. And it went the same way. As he left, the detective went to his bill. Seeing the scene there, his surprise increased. Because according to him there should have been a lot of grain. But there was nothing. The bill was completely blank. The detective began to examine Bill thoroughly. He saw a deep tunnel inside the bill. Before she went there, she heard someone's footsteps. Hearing the sound, she hid in another small tunnel made there.
"Thunder is not even here!" A strange and weak voice was heard. The spy ant knew all the ants in his area very well.
"The weather is bad today. She may have just gone out in search of grain." This voice was also strange. The ant spy wanted to look through the tunnel, but seeing the thunder coming from the front, she went back inside the tunnel.
"Hey... Mother B...! Why did you come...? I was about to come". Gurgur came to them dragging grain.
"I forbid a lot. But she doesn't listen to me. She was worried about you. She thought you were sick, that's why she hasn't come yet." Someone answered.
"The weather was bad today. That's why it was late. And even if I was sick, I would still come." Gurgur said.
"I know my Gurgurd cares a lot about us. It is because of you that we are alive. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be here today."
"Don't say that." Gurgaon did not like what he said.
"You are right. If it were not for you, the grain would not have reached us. We would have died of hunger. You have the feeling that the ants in our area should have. They left us in our old age. Although we needed them badly at that time." Said with moist eyes.
"Let's do it now. Let's eat. Then I will add more food to your bill." Saying this, Gurgurd placed a grain of grain in front of them. And then after some time she took them with her and went into the deep tunnel.
After seeing and hearing all this, Detective Ant did not know who she was. But it must have been understood that they were the elderly ants of the neighboring area. Those who were left helpless by the people of their area. The detective was very proud of Gurgurd for having such a sentient ant in his territory. She happily went to Rani and told the whole thing. Hearing this, the ant queen felt sorry for herself for how wrong she had guessed. And what did Najane think wrong about Gurgurd? But there was also happiness.
The queen ant, after much deliberation, ordered that after today, Gurgur should be given more grain than he needs. And let him not be told at all that we know everything.
