"Today, greens are made again!"
Seeing the steaming hot greens on the plate in front of him, he said with a frown.
"Mother John! I don't want to eat this.” He pushed the plate back.
"Saba daughter! They don't make a face when they see the food, whatever they get, they eat it patiently and thankfully.
"Mother John! Greens are made in our house every day, I don't want to eat today.
When is the day made, such a lie! Repent, I have made it after four whole days." Saba's mother said angrily.
"I said, 'I don't want to eat it today.' Give fries or order a pizza." Saba said as if ordering her mother. Then she got up and went out.
"Ugh! What should I do with this girl? Saima Begum gave a cold sigh after seeing her go like this.
O
She went and sat on the steps of the house with a frown.
"Saba! What happened! Why are you sitting here? And how is this sadness on your face? "Maskan, passing by, said while sitting with him.
"Nothing happened," Saba said softly.
"If nothing happened, then why is this mouth hanging?" Maskan looked at him.
"Man! Even today, greens are made in the house, I am tired of eating greens every day.
"Ugh! You are sad about so many things.'' Maskan smiled.
This is such a thing! Mom knows, I don't like greens, so why does she make them again and again.” She was getting irritated.
"By the way man! You're so ungrateful, I swear.''
"What is ingratitude in this! I don't like Saag and that's it." Saba said while staring at him.
"This is ungrateful, you should eat with gratitude that you are getting food, otherwise there are many people who are deprived of food." What was known in Maskan's tone that Saba looked at him in shock. Before they could discuss this matter between them, Saba's mother's voice came from inside the house:
"Where are you Saba!"
Hearing mother's voice, Saba quickly got up and went inside the house.
O
She was sitting in the porch of the house to get fresh air. She saw, a little girl dressed in torn old clothes was looking for something in the trash can. She started making a bad face:
"This crazy!" What are you looking for in the garbage can? "
The girl was looking for something for a long time, then suddenly she started smiling after seeing something. Seeing her smiling like that, Saba's eyes became curious as to what she saw in the trash can that made her smile. She came a little closer and started looking at the girl. As soon as she saw a rotten banana, she was shocked. The girl was happy with the banana in her hand as if she had found something very valuable. Seeing this scene, the words of the smile started ringing in his ears:
"You are so ungrateful!"
At one point Saba remained silent.
"Maskan was saying rightly, how ungrateful I really am!" I stare even at a clean thing and look at it, it's just happy to find something.'' she was thinking. Then, as the moisture came from her eyes, she quickly went to the kitchen and took out the cake kept for herself and was about to go outside when her mother Saima's voice hit her ears:
"Hey! Where are you going with this cake?"
"Mommy! She's a little girl outside, I'm going to give her." Before Saima could say anything else, she quickly ran outside:
"Listen, doll! This cake is for you, it's very fun." Saba was saying happily while extending the cake to the girl.
"This cake is for me!" The girl went towards Saba holding a rotten banana in her hand and throwing it on the ground. Seeing the cake, her eyes lit up with happiness.
"Thank you, you are so nice!" said the girl happily.
"You are also very good."
Seeing the smile on her face, Saba felt calm inside. That little doll started eating the cake with pleasure. Seeing her eating like this, Saba promised herself that after today she will not complain about anything, she will eat whatever she gets to eat with patience and gratitude. When she reached back to her mother, she saw that she was smiling, then she said:
"Son! You have given your fun cake to someone, what will you eat now? I made greens today too!''
"Never mind, I'll just eat greens..."
"What did you say?" Saima said loudly.
"Yes!" What a bad thing greens are! I will eat." Saba said like this, then both mother and daughter started laughing loudly.
