Popular was extremely poor. He was a hard working man who ran his own house. His house was also rented. He lived with his two daughters. It was not even a year since he came to this house. He was always grateful to Allah even when he was in poverty.

"Abu tomorrow is goat Eid, will we also eat meat?" asked Maqbool's younger daughter.

"Aliya! Don't worry Abuko," said the older sister, explaining her.

After listening to him, Aaliya said:

"We didn't eat meat for a whole year."

"Son! What happened, if we ate meat, Allah didn't make us hungry?" Alia's mother said.

"Hey, you will eat meat, why won't you eat it! People slaughter animals in the way of Allah and its meat is only for us." Maqbool said comforting his daughter.

The whole day of Eid passed but no meat came to Maqbool from any house in the neighborhood. The shadows of the day were about to fall. In the houses of the street where the animals were slaughtered, their meat was left in the houses. Throughout the day, the sounds of meat being cooked gradually faded away. Aaliya waited for the meat all day but...

Aaliya looked at Maqbool with dismay and said:

"I had prepared spices for the meat by cutting the things lying in the house, but the meat did not come to us from any house in the entire neighborhood?"

"You ask for some meat from a house in the neighborhood. Maybe, they have forgotten to give us meat." Begum Maqbool said while looking at the withered faces of the girls, Maqbool's eyes became moist.

"Let's go dad! I am also going with you.'' Aaliya was sitting as if ready. Maqbool got up and went out of the house with Aaliya.

When there was no mouth to ask from anyone in the neighborhood, he reached Imtiaz Sahib's house in the street of Parva. He used to come to pray in the mosque. Salam Dua used to be from his popular.

Maqbool knocked on the door. Soon the door opened and Imtiaz Sahib appeared:

"Say yes?"

After hearing this sentence from his mouth, Maqbool was shaken.

"He...he will get a little sacrificial meat, won't he?" The words were stuck in Maqbool's throat.

"Your mind is out of order? Go! The meat is gone, I don't know where from where you come with your face raised, huh." Seeing his daughter's face, seeing the disappointment, he couldn't stay there and called out to Hamid Bhai, who had a bad voice. He asked from within:

"Who is it?"

"I am your popular neighbor, you have sacrificed, give me some meat too."

After a while, Hameed Sahib brought a shopper to Maqbool. Seeing Maqbool's meat shopper, Alia's face was happy as if she had found a Qarun's treasure. Maqbool did not have much hope from Hameed Sahib, but the fate of Nasib remains together.

Both father and daughter came home with fast steps. Maqbool was shocked when he opened the shopper. There was only one big bone, two mole-like herbs and one fat herb in the shopper. Tears came to Maqbool's eyes.

"Don't worry, I'm doing something about it," Maqbool's wife said consolingly.

"I don't want to eat meat, my stomach is hurting." Alia said quickly when she saw her mother and father worried.

Hearing this sentence of his, the bonds of restraint of the popular will break. He hugged Aliya and started crying loudly. Then everyone's eyes started flowing together.

Meanwhile, there was a knock at the door. Maqbool quickly wiped his tears and went to the door.

Hey Dilawar Khan you! How about here?

"Man! What was the sacrifice? You have found your house with great difficulty. You brought meat, thinking that the children will eat it.

Dilawar lived in the old neighborhood of Maqbool.

"Come inside, man," said Maqbool to Dilawar. Pretending to be weak and tired, Rafo left there. Maqbool opened the shopper given to him and there was more than a kilo of clean meat in it. Seeing so much meat, everyone's faces lit up with happiness. Then Maqbool's wife started preparing to cook the meat, so the girls started helping him. Maqbool, as usual, thanked Allah and looked at the sky and said, "O Lord! How do people sacrifice that we cannot reach such poor people? His eyes were now flowing like a waterfall.
