It was 1995, I had been writing a series in the monthly Phool Lahore called Kahani Ghar. This sequence was very liked by the children. A story was written every month. Every month Grandfather, Grandmother, Grandfather, Grandmother. Uncle and aunt used to come to the house and tell an interesting story to the children. The idea was that the tradition of telling stories from homes was dying out, so to preserve this tradition in a new form, stories were written at home. In a huge hall, children would gather with their elders every evening, a chair was reserved for an elder on the stage, he would sit on it and narrate his life experiences to the children in the form of a story. The children enjoyed hearing their experiences in the form of stories. Pakistan Writers Youth Organization used to organize this program. Children used to learn and understand the story, many things in the story in a captivating environment. Seeing the popularity of Kahani Ghar ki Phool, a series called Kahani Ghar was started from PTV. In it, the legends and stories of various playwrights were presented in the form of drama. Phoolwale started presenting the program i.e. Kahani Ghar under his organization in different cities of Pakistan under the same name. The creator of Kahani Ghar i.e. Abdul Rasheed Farooqui has presented Kahani Ghar in the form of a digital magazine based on this idea. It will have everything that children love, education, entertainment and training is its motto. This is the beginning, ambitions are high, with the support of writers spread across the country, this website will be a success. God willing
Your Farooqui
